| This special event features not only the lovely Crocker House Victorian Garden, but other beautiful gardens within our local community. The day begins at the Crocker House Garden where you are welcome to look and learn about our garden, watch how old fashioned lace is made, watch an artist at work, view and vote for your favorite container garden, enjoy some refreshment, shop in our gift shop, take a tour of the Crocker House (if you wish) and then pick up a map that directs you to the private featured gardens within our community. You take your own vehicle which allows you to not only start at any location you wish, but also allows you to take your time viewing these beautiful gardens. One garden featured is the Miller Street Garden Boutique. Here we feature garden vendors who sell their garden wares and art. You do not want to skip this garden as it is quite large and incredibly beautiful. It rests behind a restored 1890s home which not only has its own garden, but includes the next two lots over. A great way to enjoy the day is to do some gardens in the morning, head back to the Crocker House for Afternoon Tea and a lecture about the history of tulips and then finish viewing the rest of the gardens in the afternoon. Information about ticket pricing and details of this tea are listed below. Please know that seating is extremely limited due to the size of our garden. We highly suggest you reserve your ticket soon while purchasing your Garden Walk tickets. |
