Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 1 - 4 p.m. we kick off
the season with a Formal Victorian Christmas Afternoon
Tea. Beth Stawatsz will perform the harp while we
enjoy Three Wives Tea, Scones with mock Devonshire
cream & jam, a variety of tea sandwiches, and desserts.
Tickets are $35 for members of the Macomb County
Historical Society and $40 for non-members.
We offer Christmas Tea & Tours on Sundays,
December 14 and 21 from 1 - 4 p.m.
The house is set for a Victorian Christmas, Christmas
carols by the pump organ, candy demonstrations in the
kitchen, hot "Three Wives Tea" served with scones,
Devonshire cream & jam, and Christmas cookies.
Tickets cost $8 for members of the society & $12 for

Thursday evening of December 11th. Join us for a trip back
to Christmas past filled with hot wassail, Christmas eve
Brunswick Stew in a bread-bowl, cookies, meandering carolers
("Simply Dickens), sugar plum & marzipan candy making
demonstrations, carols by the pump-organ, St. Nicholas, and
children's craft making. This is an event for everyone.
Reservations are required, limited, and non-refundable.
